Named for the Slavic word for green, Zelen is built around a rare construction: a slim black metal frame wrapped in a forest green acetate rim, the two materials sitting flush against each other with quiet precision. The result reads differently depending on the light — architectural at noon, almost moody by late afternoon. The G15 green lenses pull everything together, darkening the world just enough without losing its texture.
Flip them over and the detail work becomes obvious. The top bar carries a hand-engraved geometric pattern — diamond crosshatch, pressed into matte acetate — the kind of thing you only notice up close but makes the frame feel considered rather than manufactured. Slim wire temples taper clean, ending in ribbed rubber tips that grip without pinching. They fold flat, stay put, and feel better on the face than they have any right to at this price.
Rectangular in silhouette, compact in footprint. Designed for faces that don’t need a big frame making noise for them.
